Port of Piran

The port of Piran is an old fishing port, which was slowly transformed into a marina. Day berths are normally for smaller boats stern to. Since the depth in the port is 3.5m and the wall all the way from the entrance is about 100m long, it is possible to accommodate boats up to 65m in lenght. The bigest boat to berth in the port of Piran was M/Y Force Blue with 62m in lenght. Since, there is quite a lot of traffic during summer months (ferries to Venice), there might be a problem getting a berth – but in pre or after season, berth should not be a problem.

The port also has fueling dock (diesel and gasoline), customs and police (it is also a check in /check out point).

It is a really attractive berth and it is definitely worth trying to get in.
